The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation (RLSF) encourages Royal LePage agents to direct a small portion of each commission to their local shelter. Particpation was low, and our goal was to increase donations. Our campaign was hopeful, inspiring and compelling. “Commissioned by You” included collateral pieces that featured a series of necessities such as a warm bed, a book, a hot meal or shelter, which showed agents first hand what their commissions could help to provide for women and children in crisis. The plan included recommendations for inserts into new agent welcome packages, agent email, inclusion in standard newsletters and social and digital tactics. The response to the “Commissioned by You” materials was very gratifying. Since launching the campaign and establishing our recommendation to enable online signup, RLSF began registering 12 new longterm participants per week online.
